Tea and Art 2023

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting a whimsical tea party right in the heart of Loveland. Our host wanted to surprise her daughter and friends with something magical, and what better way than to transform the dining room into a charming Wonderland escape? The table was adorned with mismatched china, storybook characters peeking from between teapots, and a spread of colorful treats that seemed almost too pretty to eat.

The children arrived dressed in playful costumes — tiny queens, a Cheshire cat or two, and even a Mad Hatter — their excitement filling the room as soon as they saw the setup. Each guest had their own dainty cup and saucer, perfectly paired with a menu of fruit-infused teas and bite-sized sandwiches. Between sips, the children took turns sharing riddles, decorating their own mini crowns, and of course, diving into the sweet tower of scones and cakes that became the centerpiece of laughter and conversation.

What made this Loveland event so special was the sense of community and joy it brought to both children and parents alike. Neighbors stopped in to admire the setup, and the hostess remarked how simple it was for us to bring everything — from china to linens — right to her doorstep. For us, it was a reminder that the magic of a tea party isn’t just in the porcelain or the pastries, but in the shared smiles and memories created around the table.
